8 October 2019 - We started our day with a karakia this morning to remember our tipuna who were killed by Cook and his crew. The 8th of October 1769 was the start of the killings in Tūranga and these continued until they left on the 11th of October. A moving moment for all our whānau. We took a delegation to view the ship in order to piece together our story in our way. Interestingly, people who came to visit the ship started gathering around to hear our Collision story and were enlightened for it. Watch us explore the Endeavour as a whānau.
